Jet service providers can offer a wide range of services, from the sale of exclusive aircraft to big money corporations and wealthy individuals to the light air taxi service which offers quick flights to any destination at short notice. Some services, such as the sales of brand new aircraft, may take a very long time to fulfill, but others are available to anyone who can afford them straight away. This is an exclusive service, so there are many ways in which corporations and wealthy individuals work together to defray some of the expenses of having it available whenever they need it.

The jet plane industry itself can offer a wide range of models, from large heavy jets which are based on the design of large passenger aircraft to very light jets which cater to wealthy individuals. Shared ownership can work extremely well if you can find the right corporation to share with.

If you can find a corporation whose executives usually want to travel at a different time, shared ownership can be the best answer. There is always the possibility of using a jet leasing service from a charter operator to cover any time where both companies want to use the plane at the same time. The other possibility is to use air taxi services, which are usually available for smaller numbers of travelers, but again there is the risk that they may not be available when you need them.

If you are looking to own your own jet plane, whether individually or through shared ownership, you need to take into consideration the fact that there is usually a long delay in order fulfillment. Because these are highly exclusive items, they are made to order as and when they are needed. If you need to travel in the near future, you will either need to buy from one of the retailers of pre-owned aircraft, or else take a delayed delivery and use a charter jet service in the meantime. You will probably benefit from the experience of using the jet service.
